ingredients:
- 250g butter
- 250g dark chocolate
- 4 eggs
- 300g caster sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 100g plain flour
- 60g cocao powder
- 150g milk chocolate
method:
- Roughly chop the dark chocolate and cube the butter. Melt in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water
- Beat eggs and sugar until "thick enough to leave a trail" (probably 5 to 10 minutes)
- Fold in the cooled melted chocolate, vanilla, flour (sieved) and cocoa powder
- Roughly chop the milk chocolate into chunks, and add to the mix
- Mix together well and place in a 30x20cm tin, lined with parchment paper and butter
- Bake at 160°C fan for 30-35 mins
